Design Development for the new Nivea sun scent
The fragrance association of a positive summer feeling: warm energy and high spirits have been visually translated into a bottle. The color world; the warm orange of a sunset and a sundowner clearly conveys this feeling. The white cap on the color gradient of the bottle looks like a “happy smile” and so awakens positive feelings.
The colors of the bottle can be associated with those of a setting sun. The carton is lightly translucent and the word SUN is set in varnish in 3D. The bottle itself, round like the sun, nestles in a color adapted inlay.
