Dolce & Gabbana the one
The “Dolce & Gabbana the one” flacon shape is reflecting traditional Italian design language.
It has been inspired by vintage perfume bottles from the 1920ies. Italian design of this period is very specific and less ornamental then in the rest of Europe. This boldness is represented through the wide rectangular proportion of the bottle and the very large wide cap which covers almost the whole bottle top.
The quality of all elements of the design are exceptional as the brand is focusing on the best quality: the glass is flowing heavy in the base, creating a smile in the inner volume, the cap is gold plated and even though has a narrow neck it is stable and perfectly engineered. The outer box is kept in gold as most precious color of all it does fit the concept. Only embossing further enhance the appeal.
