We designed a shampoo bottle for the child cosmetic series produced by Birkholz, Berlin for the Middle East market. It was important to implement the Berlin clichees, charming but careful, for children. In this development it was important to consider, that the given form of material was feasible for use in mass production. A design studio emerged out of this need to analyse the possibility of a toylike bottle in the given form. Main characteristic is the Berlin bear which was brought into its shape ,varying from cute to abstract. All the drafts had to consider both the front and the back in order to bring over the brand and the product description. The choice of colours to differentiate between the different forms of the bodies in the series, played an important roll. How do the colours of the material work in light and shadow? In cooperation with the manufacturer, the most abstract form was implemented , being the most cost effective in production.
